SkoolTime-owned push relay
A new foreground notification connection retrieves family and staff updates directly from the existing SkoolTime Lightsail APIs approximately once per minute. No Firebase project, FCM credential or external notification provider is used.
Reliable Android delivery
The relay remains active after the interface closes, reconnects when Android restarts the service, attempts restoration after device reboot, and retains the existing 15-minute WorkManager safety check. Android displays a low-priority persistent connection indicator because this is required for reliable non-FCM background operation.
Family Hub data and communication
Includes the active-term attendance, progressive assessment, teacher/admin conversation, supportive absentee follow-up and larger launcher icon improvements from 1.0.30.
Parent & Family Hub data repair

Purpose-built native Parent Hub

A secure guardian link opens Parent Hub whether Companion is closed, on its welcome screen or already running. Published report cards remain Result PIN protected.
Correct production account login
Staff authentication now uses skooltime.ng, the same production account authority as the browser workspace, for administrators, teachers and other authorized roles.
Native Parent & Family Hub
The embedded website has been removed. Parents now receive purpose-built Android screens for learner selection, attendance, progressive academic records, Virtual Open Day updates, family guidance, assigned teachers, private messaging and account controls.
Secure magic-link activation

What's New: attendance is now one-pass per class arm and school date. The learner roster stops when complete and previously synchronized attendance is excluded when reopening the same class arm.
Protection: the cloud rejects accidental second attendance entries for the same learner and date. Missed learners remain visible as an incomplete roster instead of restarting a completed one.
Scores: class/form-teacher assignments now inherit the subjects attached to their class, while subject teachers see their specifically mounted subjects. Existing assessment types are shown only for the selected subject and class.
Messenger: improved direct staff conversations with saved conversation selection, online staff chips, typing signals, and sent/delivered/read states.
